procedures required: Responsible for meeting patient priority needs
by assessing, participating in interdisciplinary care planning,
providing and /or delegating care and evaluating patient responses
and progress toward clinical outcomes. Contributes to an efficient
and effective work environment through activities including
professional communication and documentation, precepting and/or
resourcing of others.Supervises Licensed Practical Nurses and/or
other support staff in the delivery of patient care as described in
Nebraska Statute 38.2. Equipment utilized in the unit/department:
PlumPumps, EPIC3. Required skills, minimum years of experience,
and/or education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing programMinimum
of 1 year of PCU experience required in an acute care hospital
settingRhythm Interpretation4. Required licensures,
certificates/registrations, and/or life support certifications:
Current NE or compact state RN license (as defined by the Nebraska
Nurse Practice Act)BLS - AHAACLS - AHA5. Shift or schedule
requirements (please include shift times & durations, hours/week,
if candidate will ever work alone, call requirements,
weekend/holiday requirements, etc.): 1. 36hrs/ week. 6. Floating to
other units/departments:Will float to Med Surg as needed7. Bed
size/number of rooms for this unit/department: Hospital consists of
32 inpatient beds. 12 are ICU/PCU and Medsurg overflow, 20 are
Medsurg. All beds are located on the same floor.8. Nurse to patient
ratio of this unit (nursing only): 1:49. Dress Code:Pewter Grey
scrubs. May wear a black jacket. May wear solid grey, white, or
black undershirt.10. Tell us about the unit/department-specific
training and orientation program:Will have general orientation for
1 day, followed by 1 day of EPIC training (unless employed by Bryan
within the last 12 months). Will receive 1 shift of orientation
prior to regular scheduled shift.Additional Comments: We are a
