  • A large system in Nebraska/Iowa are looking for a Night Med/Surg RN, 36 hours guaranteed. 1 years of unit experience. Contract is 13 weeks.

      • 36 hours guaranteed.
      • Shifts & Scheduling: 0630-1900, 1830-0700
      • Weekend Requirement: As needed
      • Holiday Requirement: As needed
        • Additional Details
        • Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Medical, surgical, and orthopedics
        • Number of beds: 42.
        • Nurse to patient ratios: 1:5-6
        • Charge Nurse presence on each shift.
        • No titratable drips except Heparin.
        • RT available 24 hours on the floor.
        • Tele's on the floor with centralized Tele station.
        • Nurse aids/Patient care techs: Yes - Ratios: 1:10-12
        • Floating Requirements: PCU or Burn
        • Scrub Color/Dress Code/Scrubs: Navy blue
        • Number of shifts for unit/department specific orientation: First week is classroom then 2-12 hour shifts on the floor
        • Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.
        • RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
