deluxe Swissotel Makkah is a contemporary five-star hotel located
in close proximity to the holy Masjid Al Haraam, overlooking the
Ka'aba and the Grand Mosque. Swiss--tel Makkah is part of a new
urban development, including two restaurants, one executive lounge,
two meeting rooms and a business center. It has private entrances
that make it easier for pilgrims to reach Al Masjid Al
Haram.Swiss--tel Al Maqam is Swiss--tel's second hotel to open in
Saudi Arabia. The hotel offers 1624 elegant rooms and suites with
modern design, complementing the values of today's Arab culture. As
part of the Abraj Al Bait complex, the deluxe Swiss--tel Al Maqam
is a contemporary five-star hotel located in close proximity to the
Masjid Al Haraam, overlooking the Holy Ka'aba and the Grand Mosque.

our valuable guests to reach Al Masjid Al Haram.Job
DescriptionReporting to the Group Director of Sales,
responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not
limited to the following:
- Exceeds hotel revenue goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly
basis.
- Responsible for direct report's achievement of individual
goals.
- Identifies prospective customers and establishes revenue goals
for existing key accounts and key prospects within their specific
market segment.
- Ensures delivery of expected guest service through follow-up
and coordination with other hotel departments.
- Maintains positive relations with all Guests, Vendors,
Colleagues, and Sales Offices.
- Oversees projects associated with ongoing communication between
property and Global Sales Office.
- Provide ongoing sales direction to direct reports by conducting
a minimum of two coaching calls on a monthly basis to review
skills, knowledge, techniques, and Performance Management
Goals.
- Review Hospitality Marketing Solution Shop Calls with
individual managers.
- Development of a motivated, competent staff consistent with the
hotel, regional, and corporate needs through the implementation of
approved HR/Sales Training programs, the incentive plan, and a
planned career management process.
- Plan events to encourage interaction with counterparts on other
Sales Teams that can provide Referral business.
- Keeps a constant focus on the identification of hi-potential
colleagues and succession planning opportunities/needs.
- Improves communication through attendance at weekly Revenue
Management/Rate Strategy meetings and regularly scheduled Sales
Departmental meetings.
- Develops and implements effective lead management systems.
- Assists with the development/implementation of the annual
budget and development of the marketing plan.
- Champion sales technology systems and standards.
- Assists in the preparation/re-forecasting of hotel revenue
objectives and compilation of market intelligence.
- Prepares weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as
required.
- Manages referral response system and tracking of definite
business - both inbound and outbound.
- Participates in tradeshows, conventions, and promotional events
within the hotel and trade-related organizations.
- Ensures reporting employee satisfaction.
- Conducts annual performance reviews.
- Participates in the Duty program, if required.
- Other duties as assigned.Qualifications
- Previous senior leadership experience within sales
required.
- Proficiency in English.
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office applications and or
relevant computer applications required.
- University/College degree in a related discipline is
required.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
required.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
- Highly responsible & reliable.
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and
